It's the first Wednesday in June, do you know what that means? It's global running day! I'm not sure when it started, but it seems over the last couple of years there has been an influx of these new made-up internet-invented holidays. You've probably seen it on social media: It's national sibling day or national dog day. Last week hosted both national wine day and national donut day.
Today is my favorite pretend holiday of them all, Global Running Day! There should be some sort of rule that you are not allowed to celebrate national donut day unless you also celebrate the global running day. Amiright?

So how do we celebrate on the global running day? We run! For this week's "workout Wednesday" it only seemed appropriate that I share some of my favorite running workouts.

Lace up your running shoes, grab a buddy and go for a run. Whether it's around the track or around the block, we're all runners today. Because tomorrow is (probably) national hug a trainer day, I'll be over here waiting for my free hugs.
